Because the membership review list is on the site collection site, the site collection email template is used instead of the specific site template.

I installed the FBA pack, and the registration part works great! The only issue is that an user added through the FBA pack can browse to the logo in the Picture library on the site but the page itself will not display the logo, just an x with text part displayed correctly.

Any idea how this can be resolved?

Comments: Use a relative path in the url, instead of an absolute path. So instead of: windows.mysite.com/pictures/tree.jpg or fba.mysite.com/pictures/tree.jpg just set the url to: /pictures/tree.jpg And it will access it from whatever site the user is currently on.

Comments: We would like to use FBA for external folks and Windows authentication for internal folks. So, I believe it is to do with the URL of the logo. I changed the logo to the fba URL and it works for FBA users but fails for windows authenticated users. Are we forced to decide to go one way or the other for all users? Is there any solution to this? Thanks for your quick response!

Comments: I believe the user doesn't have permissions to the image in the library. Check the permissions in the library. Alternatively, if you're on a publishing site, make sure that the image has been published so that others can view it.

If anonymous access is not turned on for the site, sub site users must have access to the parent site in order to access the sub site. I believe this has something to do with the Change Password menu.

Workaround - Set anonymous access on the site collection to Lists and Libraries, but don't actually give any lists or libraries anonymous access.

I added some german text plus a Menu entry "FBA - just add new users" that I needed for a project where site admins (but just site admins aka "site owners", not site colletion admins) were required to add new users. Hope its of use

There are reports of spaces being saved at the end of usernames. Ensure that all user fields are trimmed before being saved.

Having a page size of 3 on the Roles Management page makes roles management rather cumbersome. I recommend putting that up to 10.

Love the project. Great seeing that it is being actively worked on!
I would check in a patch, but Mercurial projects don't seem to allow me to upload patches :-(
and cpc, the official contribution tool does not seem to work on mercurail projects either. keeps complaining that it is not a tfs project. Ah well.

Closed Issue: User details changed in FBA module does not update in People Picker [812]

When I change User details in FBA module, the same is not reflected in People Picker.

Ex: The original FBA users link shows the latest email address. However, in the People Picker and in THE FBA module the links that appear after a badge like icon are the old ones.

It would be great to be able to select/set who recieves the various emails sent out through the Membership Request process. This would assist communications when someone is requesting membership for another individual and would like to recieve the notification of approval status.
